The Inscription reads: Imperator, Caesar, Caius Valerius Diocletianus Pius Felix Augustus – Supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar, Gaius Valerius Diocletian, the pious, the fortunate, emperor (Augustus). 

Reverse: CONCORDIA MILITVM – Diocletian, draped, cuirassed, standing right, holding parazonium in right hand and receiving Victory from Jupiter; Jupiter, standing left, holding sceptre

The Inscription reads: Concordia Militum – Harmony with the soldiers.
